The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation S.I.Kislyak had consultations on military-political issues in Ankara on May 12.

The consultations were held in business like and sincere atmosphere. The sides exchanged opinions on a number of regional and international problems, including the situation around the Conventional Forces Treaty in Europe, relations between Russia and NATO, security aspects in the Black Sea.

The Russian delegation was received by the first Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey E.Apakan.

The representatives of the General Staff of the military forces of Russia and Turkey joined the consultations.

The meetings in Ankara were mutually helpful, helped better comprehensions of each other. The sides agreed to continue regular contacts.
