Russian President Vladimir Putin’s condolences to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan
On December 17, 2016 President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to President
of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan following the deaths of Turkish servicemen in a terrorist attack
The message reads, in part:
“I firmly believe that in response to such criminal acts we must redouble our efforts in the decisive struggle
against extremist groups. Russia is ready to further broaden counter-terrorism cooperation with Turkey.”
The President of Russia expressed condolences to the families and friends of those killed and wished a speedy
recovery to all those injured.
